This charity collection bin was developed as a sustainability initiative for Mamas and Papas to include a take-back scheme with charity Oxfam which aims to reduce the amount of children’s clothing sent to landfill each year.
Concept and Construction: The core of the Oxfam Dump Bin lies in its ingenious design and construction. Utilising large-format printed foamex boards the bins are crafted in sections strategically shaped to enhance both durability and aesthetic appeal. The use of 19mm foamex for the tops ensures not only structural integrity but also serves to maintain the shape and aesthetic appearance. Its interchangeable graphics allow for dynamic messaging.
